Why I Do What I Do
Hey, I’m Jaylee—the face behind RE:MIND Meditation. Figured it was time to say hi, show my face, and share why I do what I do.
In 2013, I was diagnosed with late-stage colon cancer during an early pregnancy. Surgery, recovery, 12 rounds of chemo in 6 months—the usual. It was brutal, but I survived. I thought I’d just pick up life where I left off. Except… three months after chemo ended, everything hit me all at once—nerve damage, night sweats, emotions I didn’t even realize I had been suppressing. I felt like I was drowning in something I didn’t know how to process.
Then I found Lucia N°03 light meditation.
At first, it was just a way to escape—a mental vacation from everything I didn’t want to deal with. But after a few sessions, something shifted. My mind felt clearer, I felt calmer, and—shockingly—my night sweats started to fade. I was experiencing the kind of deep mental reset that people spend years meditating to achieve.
That’s when I realized: everything I needed was already inside me—I just had to learn how to listen.
And that’s what I want to help others do. When you’re stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a break from your own mind, Lucia Light helps you tune in. It worked for me, and now I share it with others.
