Putting it simply, it’s a Light that assists in finding a deep place of mediation. It uses a combination of solid and flashing white light to pull the user into a state of deep rest and relaxation. Light meditation stimulates the brain in such a way that it takes you on a journey that is both visual and unique to you and the activity of the brain is reflected in the eyes of the Light user.

Developed by a neurologist and psychologist from Austria, the Lucia N°03 is based on their work and research around altered states of consciousness, psychedelics and near death experiences. The light stimulates your pineal gland which reacts to both the intensity and rhythms of the light, triggering a visual reaction in the person’s brain.

The Light holds you in a hypnogogic state, the state between wakefulness and sleep. Hypnagogia is the best of both worlds. You get the free flow of ideas that occur during REM sleep, but you’re still alert enough to be slightly conscious of what’s going on.
